WHO WE ARE
The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) is a non-political and non-sectarian international fraternal order of Odd Fellowship. It was founded in 1819 by Thomas Wildey in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The order is also known as the Triple Link Fraternity, referring to the order's "Triple Links"
The Aurora Odd Fellows (Lodge #148) work closely with the community of Aurora and New Tecumseth, as well as other surrounding areas, to promote social and personal development. Along with this, Lodge #148 works with other nearby Lodges to participate in larger activities and gatherings.
Lodge #148 meets fortnightly (twice a month). The Lodge meets on the first Saturday of every month at 10:00am and the second Thursday following the Saturday meeting at 7:00pm of the same month.

OUR PURPOSE
It is the purpose of Odd Fellows to: improve and elevate the character of men and women; to instil them with the proper conceptions of their capabilities for good; to enlighten their minds; and teach them to exhibit by precept and example that:
True Odd Fellows are: “Grateful to their Creator”, “Faithful to their Country” and "Fraternal to their Fellow Man and Woman”
